I stopped by a garage sale around the corner from my house today. Thought Oppo would like to see what I found.
I bought the framed vintage Dodge and International ads and two vintage GM and Chrysler ads in the sleeves. The seller threw in a few slightly water damaged 1965 National Geographic magazines for free which I dissected for the ads. I plan to reframe the framed and sleeved ones then put the rest in a large poster frame(or 2) as a collage.
The framed International ad is a little rough but can be saved and the GM one is fantastic. The Dodge one is absolutely pristine and the colors of both quite vibrant in person. I think I might pickup the random old magazines from now on to scavenge for the ads, these are awesome.
If anyone wants the Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Cadillac, and Buick ads I’ll mail them to you. I only wanted the Dodge, Chrysler, IH, Chevy, Pontiac, gas stations, photography, and random ones.
